Brewery Safety Note: Glass hydrometers are extremely fragile. Always use a plastic or glass testing jar for samples. To get an accurate reading, spin the hydrometer gently in the liquid to dislodge any bubbles that might be clinging to the glass. After use, rinse with warm water and store in its protective plastic case to prevents breakage. It is calibrated at 60°F or 68°F (check specific model).
