The TOF® KeyKeg Type Coupler (K-System) is a professional-grade dispense head specifically engineered for the unique requirements of KeyKeg® one-way keg systems. Manufactured by TOF®, an ISO 9001 certified leader in beverage equipment since 1997, this coupler ensures a secure, leak-proof connection for wines, beers, and draught cocktails. Unlike standard couplers, the K-System is designed to drive gas into the space between the outer laminate and the inner bag, squeezing the beverage out without the gas ever touching the liquid. This ensures 100% flavor purity and extended shelf life for delicate beverages.

Technician’s Note: KeyKegs operate on a “bag-in-ball” principle, which means your gas pressure (CO2 or Compressed Air) must be set high enough to compress the bag—typically 30–45 PSI depending on the product and line length. Because the gas never touches the beer, you can safely use filtered compressed air to drive this coupler. Before tapping, ensure the 5/8″ neoprene washers are present on both the gas-in and liquid-out ports to prevent “snifting” or air leaks that can cause the internal bag to collapse unevenly.
