Technician’s Note: The QDV valve prevents gas from being turned on unless the hose is correctly connected, a major safety advantage. During installation, ensure the QDV is oriented so the handle can be easily reached behind the equipment. The 72″ length is ideal for appliances that must be pulled completely clear for service.
