Technician’s Note: When installing a 24″ kit, the plumbing rough-in must be accurately placed to avoid over-stretching the hose. Anchor the restraining cable to a structural point and ensure it is shorter than the hose. Inspect the quick disconnect monthly; the internal thermal shut-off is a critical safety feature that requires a clean, unobstructed coupling to function correctly.
