While this slicer does slice other cheeses, it is suited for mozzarella,given the snug fit that the frame offers for that type of cheese. The cutting bow is easy to remove for washing, and the stainless steel cutting wires can be replaced. The Easy Mozzarella Slicer is NSF certified.
