The FermZilla 23.6″ Stainless Steel Thermowell allows for precise internal temperature monitoring in 27L and 55L FermZilla units. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, this thermowell captures core heat generated by yeast activity, which stick-on thermometers miss. Includes a Duotight bulkhead for a pressure-tight seal.
Technician’s Installation Tip: Use a pipe cutter to score a small notch in the stainless rod about 15mm from the top. This gives the Duotight O-rings a positive “lock” on the rod to prevent it from sliding out under high fermentation pressures.
