Technician’s Installation Tip: Because it is PVC-free, this tubing is slightly stiffer than standard vinyl. To ensures a 100% leak-proof seal on 5/16″ barbs, soak the end of the tubing in hot water for 30 seconds to soften the liner before installation. Always secure with an Oetiker stepless clamp for permanent reliability in pressurized gas or liquid systems.
