The Crown Steam CE-48 is an electric steam generator engineered to streamline high-volume kitchen workflows. Its 48 kW output and 9–11 psi operating range deliver steady steam to connected equipment, helping chefs and operators keep production on pace during peak service. The freestanding 24″ cabinet base integrates easily along a cookline to conserve space and simplify service access.

Optimize performance with CSD-1 controls, automatic water level control, and automatic blowdown that reduce manual checks and support consistent operation. A pressure gauge and water gauge glass provide clear visibility, while pressure control with secondary safety and a safety relief valve add critical layers of protection for facility managers.

Built for daily use, the stainless steel exterior, reinforced countertop, and two-door cabinet offer durable storage and a sturdy work surface. Four 6″ stainless steel legs with adjustable flanged feet help level the unit on uneven floors. A split water line, included water filter system, and steam take off kit support clean, reliable steam for steamers, kettles, and other compatible equipment.
