The DD78HC-1-B Draft Beer Cooler from Beverage Air is a good choice if your establishment needs an easy to use draft beer solution and don’t want to run remote lines from back-of-house to your bar. This unit has 33.59 cu. ft. of cold storage to hold four ½ kegs.
To protect the floor and door sill inside this unit from the weight of kegs they’re made from durable stainless steel while the ceiling and walls are made from galvanized steel. All doos come standard with a lock for added security. The doors come with magnetic gaskets and are self-closing to make sure they’re never accidentally left ajar. This unit comes with two 3” dispensing towers with a total of four taps. The stainless steel towers are insulated to make sure the beer in the tower is nice and cool preventing waste while reducing foaming. The top of the unit is made from stainless steel and includes a drip tray to catch any spills. The drip tray is internally routed to a drain tube at the bottom of the unit to empty into a floor drain. Beverage Air uses silver-lined tubing that is 100% effective against the top 4 beverage spoiling bacteria. This allows for a 3-in-1 draft solution that allows a single tap to be used for different beverages.
A ⅓ HP compressor producing 2392 BTU/hr of cooling is housed in either the left or right side of the unit to best fit your requirements. The temperature inside is maintained between 36ºF and 38ºF by the fully electronic controls. An epoxy-coated evaporator coil makes sure efficient cooling will be provided for many years with minimal service. The refrigeration system uses eco-friendly R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant that meets all environmental standards. The unit is kept free of frost by an automatic non-electric defrost function that keeps downtime to a minimum.
