Accuflex Bev-Flex 172 Series is a premium polyethylene tubing designed for high-purity water and beverage distribution. Featuring a 3/8″ internal diameter (.380″) and a 5/8″ OD, this tubing is engineered for high burst strength and minimal flavor impact. The high-visibility red tracer allows for easy line identification in multi-line draught bundles. It is NSF-51 and NSF-61 certified, making it the ideal choice for high-volume soda fountain water supply lines and commercial brewery transfer systems where flavor integrity is paramount.
Installation Note: Polyethylene is more rigid than vinyl. For the best seal, use John Guest push-fit fittings or ensure your barbs are correctly sized for 3/8″ ID. Always use a tube cutter for a perfectly square cut to prevent leaks at the internal O-ring seal. The red tracer traditionally identifies this as a CO2 or high-pressure gas line for staff.
