Technician’s Note: When plumbing 3/8″ vinyl lines in tight spaces, kinking is the primary cause of intermittent foaming or gas flow restriction. This U-bend is the professional solution for creating a “hard-turn” return. To ensure a permanent seal, use 13.3mm Oetiker clamps. If you are working with rigid barrier tubing, briefly dip the tube ends in hot water (not boiling) to soften them before pressing them onto the barbs; this ensures the tubing seats fully against the U-bend shoulder.
