The 3/8″ Barb to 1/4″ NPT Straight Fitting is a precision-engineered component for commercial beverage plumbing. Specifically designed for use with Flojet electric pumps, it features a 3/8″ hose barb on one end and a 1/4″ Male Pipe Thread (NPT) on the other. Constructed from high-durability, food-safe white nylon, it offers excellent chemical resistance and a 100% flavor-neutral path for syrup, water, or beer. Precision-machined to ensures a liquid-tight seal in high-vibration environments.
Technician’s Note: Use high-quality PTFE (Teflon) tape on the 1/4″ NPT threads to ensures a liquid-tight seal to the pump body. For the 3/8″ barb side, always use a dedicated tube cutter for a square cut on your tubing and secure with an Oetiker stepless clamp. Nylon fittings are preferred over metal for some pump models to prevents galvanic corrosion and ensures a lighter, more flexible connection.
