Description
These 44×25.5mm Beer Corks are the industry standard for cork-and-cage finish Belgian ales, Barleywines, and Sours. Measuring 44mm in length and 25.5mm in diameter, they provide a dense, high-pressure seal suitable for beverages that will be bottle-conditioned to high carbonation levels. These corks are designed for use with standard 750mL Belgian-style bottles and must be secured with wire cages to prevent ejection.
Bottling Pro-Tip: These are high-density corks and require a floor corker for installation—hand corkers will not provide enough force to compress them safely. Briefly dip the corks in a cold sulfite solution before use to sanitize and provide enough lubrication for the corker to seat them correctly. Always leave 1″ of headspace between the cork and the liquid.
