Description
This professional-grade reducing tee is precision-engineered from 304 stainless steel to provide a sanitary and high-strength branching point for beverage and gas distribution. Featuring dual 3/8″ hose barbs on the main run and a 1/4″ hose barb on the branch, this fitting is the industrial standard for “stepping down” lines or adding a secondary drop to an existing 3/8″ trunk line. Its 304 stainless steel construction is entirely flavor-neutral and highly resistant to the corrosive effects of CO2, nitrogen, and acidic soda syrups, making it a superior long-term choice over plastic or brass alternatives.
- Configuration: Reducing Tee (3-Way Splicer)
- Material: Food-Grade 304 Stainless Steel
- Main Run: Dual 3/8″ OD Hose Barbs
- Branch: Single 1/4″ OD Hose Barb
- Durability: 100% rust-proof and resistant to aggressive brewery cleaning chemicals (CIP)
- Application: Ideal for gas manifolds, syrup line branching, and draught system trunk line splits
- Compatibility: Fits standard 3/8″ ID and 1/4″ ID vinyl, polyethylene, or braided tubing
Technician’s Note: This reducing tee is specifically useful when you need to pull a 1/4″ gas or liquid feed off a larger 3/8″ main supply line. The 304 stainless steel barbs feature sharp, precision-machined ribs that “bite” into the tubing for a permanent seal. For the 3/8″ barbs, we recommend using 15.7mm Oetiker Stepless Clamps; for the 1/4″ branch, use a 10.5mm clamp. Always ensure the tubing is pushed completely flush against the center of the tee to prevent internal turbulence and potential bacteria traps.
